Sometimes me and Teemu have to leave the clandestine behind-enemy-lines world of WW2 undercover operations. This week's mission was strictly business (okay and parties) at Slush 2013. Slush is an amazing investor / startup conference right here in Helsinki!
What a week it was. One hundred startups took part in the pitching competition and we made it to the top-20! I was also on a game entrepreneur panel but the most exciting part was being able to show Spymaster to such game industry legends as John Riccitiello and David Gardner! Really, really happy to see the immediate reactions and in general great feedback from all the meetings we had. Can't wait to get the game polished for release!
In case you're wondering what kind of business meetings game studios have, here's a little sneak peek at our top secret business slides that we had with us all week. Using a lot of art is always good! :)
So mission accomplished - what now?
In next Tuesday's post I will be getting back to the game and talking about what we call the in-game "mission runner". It's one of the most unique features in Spymaster, and we have a screenshot coming up too!
Have a great weekend and stay tuned! :D
